Remembering scroll position in a playlist

Hi,

Since you ignore my idea submission, and in all other threads where this issue was brought up, you only gave evasive/inconclusive answers... I'll try again!

Just to recapitulate what we're talking about:

PLEASE make the app remember where I last scrolled to in a playlist when I click on this playlist in the sidebar. Right now this only works when you use the backward arrow, but this is pretty much useless. Example, just to illustrate how I use the app: I have a playlist with 6000 songs, I scroll to position 1387 and pick something for my cue, then I do 20 or 30 other things, I check out albums, I go into other long playlists. Then I want to go back to position 1387 in my 6000 song playlist and maybe delete the album I listenend to because I don't like it anymore, or add the next album to the cue. Now, having to click the back arrow 30 times instead of getting where I want to get with just one click is NOT EXACTLY CONVENIENT. Scrolling through the enormous list and looking for the position I left off isn't either. And writing down the number of my last position, in 2023? Come on, this can't be it. I tried to place a certain song as a marker and then search for it, but when you search for a song in a playlist, then click it (not play it, just highlight it!), then delete the search term, you are not being placed at the position of this song (this worked in the old version of the app!!!), instead you are again placed at the top of the playlist. And when you click playlists via the sidebar, you are always placed at the top of every playlist. It's super annoying, and it completely messes up the way I use the app. PLEASE bring back this functionality, or tell me that it interferes with something else in the new app, or that something that had been working for years has suddenly become rocket science for your devs. Otherwise I will never understand how you could remove this functionality, it's a major step backwards. So please give me some conclusive answer, even if it's a negative one. You seem to care what we think and you seem to be willing to listen, but when you look at how many complaints are actually dealt with, I'm not sure you care.

Thank you.

P. S. Kudos for the new sorting function, this is one of the few really good things that have been added since the revamp two years ago. It came too late for me because I had manually sorted my playlists alphabetically a month earlier, but it's still a good feature. What's completely unnecessary though is the addition of miniature covers in the sidebar. The UI is already cluttered, and you're still making it worse. I'm sorry, but your team has absolutely no sense of aesthetics. The old UI was so much cleaner and smoother to navigate. But I can live with that, just bring back this one functionality that worked FOR YEARS, please.
