Sharing playlist

Hi there. Have been trying to receive both a playlist and a "blend" with another Spotify user. None which are working. When I click on a recieved link it either opens another (random) of my own playlists that my friend has never seen or is not availiable on their end, or it just opens my Spotify app and nothing else. I also tried sending a link myself from a #spotifyblend Spotify created for us, but this link does not open at my friends end. Which mean I cannot send or receive any links to lists on spotify. Have been trying to reach any customer service, but all ends leads to this community. Please help? We are both using the mobile app for ios and android.
