Show desktop overlay when using media keys on Windows 11 not working

I noticed that since moving from Windows 10 to 11, that I lost the overlay that pops up when using the media keys. It is enabled in the settings, so I'm not sure what the cause might be. Perhaps Windows 11 is stopping it from popping up?
