Shuffle option not visible audiobook

I'm on Premium using android device. Have created a playlist of the lord of the rings books (and downloaded) but can't turn off shuffle. The option isn't visible on the Now Playing type screen. Can you help? See image below

 Consequently,  the chapters don't play in order,  despite the order being correctly custom-ordered in the playlist.

In the playlist view,  it shows as being in shuffle mode but I can't change it:

Hey @Zoltan007, happy to help here!

I think the Shuffle Play button is the default setting for playlists. If you want to play the tracks in order, all you have to do is tap on the first track.

To view the Shuffle button in the Now Playing View (your first screenshot), you have to tap on (...) in the top-right-hand corner, and it should appear along the top alongside Repeat and Go to Queue, like this:

Thanks for replying Peter. Unfortunately those options aren't working for me; tapping on the first episode doesn't fix the subsequent order and the three dot menu on my now playing screen does not yield the same options as depicted in your screenshot. It's a pain!

Thanks for trying that. I still have hope, I just want to narrow down the issue a bit. Would you mind trying the following:

• Perform a clean reinstall of the app on your phone using this guide: https://community.spotify.com/t5/FAQs/How-can-I-perform-a-clean-reinstall-of-the-app/ta-p/4746485
• Let me know the Android version and the Spotify app version (after the clean reinstall) running on your device
• Share a link to the Lotr playlist so I can see if I can reproduce the issue on my device with that specific playlist? It might be something to do with, e.g., the playlist length (48+ hours).
