Spotify Album Playback

Hello, I used to be able to click an album in the Spotify app, hit the play button and the app would play the album and afterward, go to an algorithmically generated list of recommendations based on that album. This was great! I also enjoyed being able to turn off the recommendations although I actually came to prefer them being on because I was discovering a lot more new music that way.

At some point very recently, this behavior changed so that now when I click an album in the list of albums on the artist page, it goes to a list of every single album/song by a band and then if I click the play on that album, it will play the album but then it also adds every single album in that list to my queue or even worse, it will just stop playing music altogether when the album is over, forcing me to stop what I'm doing and figure out what is going on. To top it all off, if I click the play button on the album's page after navigating, it doesn't just start playing that album. Instead, it just has the same effect as clicking the main play button at the bottom of the screen. Clearing the songs out of the queue and then clicking the album play button has no effect on this, it wiIl just start playing whatever song it was playing as if I unpaused it and then when I go look at the queue, it has magically added all albums by that artist back again and if I clear them away, it just arbitrarily adds other songs by that artist. I just want to be able to play an album and then let spotify pick random songs based on that album after it is done. If you were going to change how something so basic works, it should have been a settings update that allows people to customize their experience, not a change to the overall architecture of the app that is forced upon everyone.

Also just want to add that I don't care about seeing a list of all albums and songs for an artist especially if I arrive there from looking at a list of albums. I was already looking at a list of albums and I clicked on one of them. Why does that action take me to the same list of albums only now I can see the songs? Why are there so many different views for the same information? Why is the overall functionality of the playback queue affected by whatever view you were on when you clicked a play button?

As of now, I feel like I'm fighting Spotify instead of it being what it should be which is a transparent interface for the enjoyment and consumption of music.
