the new layout is absolutely horrible

why do we get forced to get these horrible updates? everything keeps getting so much worse. "making it more simple" - no. it's a mess. why not keep it neat and simple like it was?

make skins or something -like winamp- so I CAN CHOOSE how i want to have it. i'd happily pay for that to keep it the way i want it, instead of getting forced to use something im uncomfortable with. what is up with making everything so big? the bar in the bottom can be at least less than half as big (like it was). there is no much unnecessary spacing EVERYWHERE now on the pc version. it looks like it's made for an ipad, for boomers - i want my neat pc version/"the difficult" version back.

I don't understand companies' need to turn well functioning desktop programs into glorified mobile apps. It looks awful and is not nice to use at all

exactly. i really wish they could release skins or that you can decline certain updates, so you can keep it the way you want

i added spicetify exactly for this reason lol, spotify is just making both the pc and the mobile client worse with each update

I really enjoyed having separate album and song titles. I didn't care about it being "unsupported" or the like. Then they force the garbage change on people. Makes a person want to switch

Spotify team really needs to learn the phrase "dont fix it if its not broken". I hope they reverse this update it is absolutely terrible. I have many albums saved and scrolling through the old layout was very comfortable. Now they changed it to this tinny  scroll bar that takes ages to go through. Companies need to stop making bad decision just so things are "more minimal". Its ugly and unpractical.

Just canceled my subscription that I had for 9 years. This new layout is the kicker. This small library with the cover in front is just unusable.
