A little problem

Hey

I made my spotify account a while ago. I made it with MY facebook account and everything else.

One time i headed to my girlfriend, and we wanted to listen to music. I turned my spotify account on her computer, while she was logged in to facebook. The next time i logged in, the facebook-account linked to my spotify account now was hers. That shouldn't be happening right?

When i logged in i used the original username and password. Not facebook information.

I have tried to change it back a number of times, but nothing seems to work.

Looking forward for some help.

This can easily be fixed! 

Just sign into your Spotify account using your Spotify username and password. Then head to the preferences menu, in Windows it is under Edit > Preferences and press the "Disconnect from Facebook" button. You can then relink it to your own account by pressing the "Connect to Facebook" button and verifying your details.

Already tried that.

The problem is that there is no facebook account that is attached to my account, in reality. I never did that. My own just came automatically, and then it changed to hers automatically.

When i try to add a facebook account, it doesen't work.

Hmmm this is strange. 

And you say that you normally log in using your Facebook account? How do you know its your girlfriends account?

I always log in using my username and password. I never used the facebook linked system.

I know it's hers account because her picture is in the top right corner, and her name is there. I can also see all her facebook friends that are linked to spotify.

In the end of the day, i just want to remove facebook from my account. I dont need to change it to mine.

And you have tried pressing the "Disconnect from Facebook" button in the preferences menu and then logging out and back in again? 

If you have and this is still occuring I will escalate this to the staff for you, but that should disconnect her Facebook from your account!

I don't have a "Disconnect from Facebook" button. I only got the "Connect to Facebook" button. So there is no way i can press a button i don't have:)

So my preference menu states that there is no facebook account attached to my account.

Okay, definitely something not right here! 

I have escalated this topic to the forum staff for you, hopefully someone will be able to look at your account from the Spotify end.
