Changing country problems

Hi!

 

I've recently moved to UK from Sweden, and now Spotify prompts me to change country - yeah no problem.

However when I try to update my profile, but still using my Swedish credit card it doens't work!

 

Do I really have to have a UK/English card?

If you are subscribing, the country where your payment method is registered has to match the country of your Spotify account profile. If you are using your Swedish card keep your country as Sweden. You won't need to change country if you are subscribing, as you have unlimited travel access anyway 🙂

If that's how it's supposed to work, and I'm sure it is, then why is the user being prompted to change country. That, to me, appears to be the problem/bug you should focus on and feedback to the people who can do something about it.

If there is no active subscription, then there will be a prompt to change country after a few days.

 

No bug involved.
