I JUST GOT A 30 DAY TRIAL AND HAVE DOWNLOADED SOME ALBUMS.WILL I BE CHARGED FOR THIS AND IS IT USING UP MY DOWNLOAD USAGE ON MY PHONE AND IPAD?

In some countries, Spotify has a Download Store, where you can buy music files for download, but it isn't available in Australia. So I can be safe in assuming that you mean downloading playlists for offline listening.

No. There is no charge.

The music is downloaded - It is essentially streamed to your device, but then stored encrypted there (It can only be accessed by the Spotify app). This does use bandwidth, but you can do it over wi-fi. That's usually quicker, and won't use up any of your uota if you have a limited data plan.
