Dark Knight Rises gone?

Hi All,

I had the 'Dark Knight Rises' on a playlist for the last few weeks, and suddenly yesterday it disappeared. I can't find the album now either in Spotify. Has it suddenly been made unavailable in New Zealand?

Go on Preferences and uncheck "Hide unplayable tracks". If it was made unplayable, it should now appear greyed out in your playlist.

If that's the case, you have no choice but to find the track elsewhere and add it to Spotify. Record labels are annoying like that.

Yep - unchecking it shows all those tracks greyed out.

That TOTALLY sucks - it was available, and now suddenly the whole album is gone for New Zealand. Who actually makes these decisions? What a proverbial. I could always switch IP (I have a VPN account) - but I'm not going to pay a second account fee to get no adverts - I already pay a NZ fee.

I searched for Dark Knight Rises, grey in Finland as well.

It says "This track is not available. If you have this track on your computer you can import it". That message means that it's gone everywhere, not only your region. So VPNs would do no good.

If it was a regional restriction, it would say "This track is currently not available in New Zealand."

That's interesting about Finland - and what you mention about it being gone everywhere. I didn't know the messages were different. 

BUT - I did use a VPN for a UK IP address - and I could get the album using that IP address OK. So it does look like it's available in some places at least. Just not the 'litte' countries maybe. Sigh.

Well I tried it again now. Still unavailable here but now it's showing the "not available in Finland" message. Seems like it WAS gone everywhere but now it's back in some areas of the world.
