Hard drive failure

My music laptop that I use to stream both JRMC and Spotify has gone hard drive awol, but I hjave not been able to uninstall. I have purchased a new laptop, and want to install spotify, but will I be able to as technically it's now on 4 devices under my user account?

If I can't, then how do I get it sorted?

You should be able to download, install and use Spotify on your new laptop. Just be sure to use the same log in details as before. If you are a premium subscriber and have offline playlists, then this 4th device might give you an error when you attempt to make a playlist offline. Its an easy problem to fix, just drop a post onto this thread asking for your offline devices to be reset and once thats done everything will be running smoothy again 😉

There is no restriction on the number of devices on which you can log in to your account. You could be round a friend's house. You can log in. No problem. The only restriction is the number of devices on which you can have offline synced playlists.

Even then, you shouldn't have a problem syncing a playlist for offline use on your new laptop. What will happen is that, if it is a 4th device use for syncing, the first device used will have its playlists unsynced when you log in. If this is your old laptop then you should have no further issues. However, if the first was another device, you may find yourself slowly working around the "queue" before all current devices are enqueued.
