Member for ~2 Years, never had a time limit, and now suddenly starting to get time-limit

Hi,

I am an Spotify Free member and have been a member of spotify for about ~2 years and i've never had a time-limit on my listening, and suddenly today i've started to get a time-limit. During this ~2 year period, i've had a 8 month premium membership too.

Why am i getting an time-limit?!?

Please help/Remove this time-limit

Hi,

Welcome to the Community! Free users of Spotify in the UK currently have a 10 hour a month time limit. This is separated into 2.5 hours a week.

You won't have received this with your Premium subscription. It may be that you haven't used your Spotify enough in the last few months, so you may not have noticed the time limit.

Hi. I have been listening to Spotify steadily since it's begining in Spain, when it was only through invitation, maybe some 4 years ago. Maybe it's because I have been an unlimited user for a long time that I wasn't aware of the time limit.

Oh well, can't live without it, crisis or not. Thanks Sam.

There is no listening restrictions on unlimited or premium subscription accounts 😉 Only free accounts are subject to the listening restrictions after the first 6 months.

Hi Peter,

Yes I understand, I had stopped my subscription for a few months, which is why I realized about the limit. I'm back to paying, I'm a heavy user.
