Hi i have just upgraded to Premium and noticed that my email adress registered with the site is one that I nolonger have access to (previous job). I cannot change the address from the account settings as I cannot remember the password for my account - if I ever had one? My account was created via facebook and is still linked to the same FB account. The facebook account has my new email address but the Spotify system does not appear to update user data, even when I have signed out and back in (via facebook).

 

What can I do? There is no point sending a password reset as the registered email account in not active...

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

To my knowledge, updating your details on Facebook should be enough to change it in the Spotify system, it might just be taking a while to update on your profile. To be on the safe side (incase you ever loose access to your account) I would suggest you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and ask them to double check (or change) those details for you.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
