What is the difference between downloading and streaming - I have paid £4.99 per month and thought this was it - however £1.15 is coming out of my account each time I download something - I thought I understood it to be £4.99 per month - full stop.  The Help Desk used the phrase downloading and streaming.  If I stream do I not pay the £1.15 or have I totally misunderstood.  Also how do you stream?

Streaming = Double click a track, it plays instantly off the internet. This costs £4.99 per month if you want no advertisements or time limits, and £9.99 if you want mobile apps and higher bit rate. If you stop paying, you get advertisements and limits again.

Currently, Spotify streaming for free users has no limits for the first 6 months from your first login, but then you will get a limit of 10 hours per month and 5 plays per track unless you pay.

Downloading = Getting music files on your computer. You are buying music so you pay separately for each track. You can keep these files forever, there is no monthly fee associated with them.
