'Spotify has been unable to withdraw payment' BUT I pay using a working Paypal account!?

I subscribe to Spotify Premium using Paypal but it's telling me there's an issue with my payment details. I've logged into my Paypal address and it seems to be fine. Help?

In general, we suggest making sure  all of the requirements are met to use PayPal with Spotify:

1. Your PayPal account must be from the same country as the one set in your Spotify account profile: https://www.spotify.com/account/profile/ 
2. The PayPal account must be linked to a credit card, and this card must not have expired. 
3. Your PayPal account must be verified to enable recurring payments.
