I have a Spotify Unlimited subscription, and have been trying to cancel it. I went through and wrote why I want to cancel it (which is because I don't like that I can't browse artists on the app on my iPod Touch, and that Spotify songs can't be added to my Music folder on my iPod), BUT it's not letting me.
I went to type in my Facebook password (since I have the accounts linked) to verify that I want to cancel my subscription, but it kept saying "Incorrect Password". I clicked "Forgot your password?", entered my email address, and because I linked Spotify with my Facebook, it told me to change the password settings in Facebook. So I did that, I changed my password on Facebook, and it's STILL saying it's the incorrect password.
Someone please help me because I'm going insane right now.

You can get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to lend a hand.
If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

I am beginning to think spotify is a big scam. I have asked them to cancel my account for 2 months now they have given me grief. I have this account for a year and never used it whatsoever and just to cancel they are asking me for all sorts of things like bank names, dates,codes, serial numbers, special transaction numbers and all this crazy stuff I have never heard of in my life just to get this canceled!!! They are making my life a living hell trying to cancel this account. The obvious reason is they want to make it utterly impossible and completely frustrating to cancel so that I will just give up and my guess is this saves them millions in chargebacks which is what I'm going to have to just do to avoid all this nonsense if they do not just cancel like I asked. Anyone else have this nightmare? Because

This is a typical thing they do with infomercial type of gigs that end up with really bad raps on the web. I am a blogger and marketer so I know about this stuff. I am also a moderator for a PR9 complaints board so this may have to be brought to the publics attention.

I don't use facebook but have the same problem, don't remember my password, Spotify won't allow me to reset. Spotify requires a password to cancel. This seems like a very convienent bug for Spotify. I've used to the contact form to request they unsubscribe me immediately. If they don't take care of this in a timely manner I'm going to report them to the State Attorney General.

I have been trying to cancel premium as I was still getting ads, not able to skip more than 6 times etc so went online but it’s nigh on impossible to cancel despite it saying cancel anytime so have called bank and stopped future payments! Thry can sort it from their end!!
