I have been out of the country and unable to login to spotify for a while because of the 14 day limited use restriction. I am however in the United States currently and it still acts like my subscription status is outside of the US. I tried changing my zip code to the one I am currently at but that did nothing for me. What should I do?

Is it possible that your ip address is being recognised as from out of the US? Try an ip checker like http://www.geoiptool.com/
