unsecure card details!!

Dear Spotify,

 

Over the weekend I received an email saying that you, Spotify,  had not be able to take the payment for my account and that you had cut off my premium access (which is what happened and I lost all my downloaded music!). I then went in to my account to see what the issue was and saw that the card details assigned my account were not in fact mine. I then went through the procedure setting up the account again with my credit card details. I have however just gone on to my HSBC and seen on the 7 January that £9.99 has been taken out of my HSBC debit card that I originally set the account up with! I now have 2 payments going out and my account details are obviously not secure with you company. Looking for a spotify  contact number on the web I have noticed that this is not a unique case and that this has in fact to other paying customers!

 

I am totally appalled and enraged that this could have happened and would like to know firstly what you are going to do to amend this issue and secondly what compensation I will be getting?

As this is a billing query it is best that it is not done on the public forum since personal details might be needed. Get in touch with the customer services team directly using the Online contact form and they will be able to investigate this for you.
