Hi Folks,

Later this year we're upgrading the Spotify Community to a new platform. We're really excited about it, more on that closer to the time.

One thing we wanted to let you know now: Community private messages won't be carried over to the new platform. 

If you have any private messages you'd like to keep, please save or copy them before September 28, 2026.

How to save your messages:

  • Log into community.spotify.com
  • Go to your inbox (click your avatar > Messages)
  • Copy or screenshot any conversations you want to keep

After September 28, private messages from the current platform will no longer be accessible.

 

Rest assured things like your login, posts, replies, and discussion history will remain.
