Monthly Ideas Review
Every month the Community Team reviews our Ideas Board. In this blog we'll present some of the ones we’ve updated in the past month!
We're a tad late this month, but let's take a look at what's changed recently..
The Repeat and Queue buttons have returned to the Now Playing View on the mobile app. The repeat button has moved to the left and you Queue can be found just below.

We're keeping this idea to 'Not Right Now', as this isn't something we have any immediate plans to implement.

So there’s supposed to be this video that plays in the background of certain songs like Narcos and White Sand by amigos but it’s not playing for me.
Please include a section on the artist's page for remastered/remixed/etc. Sometimes I like the original recordings of albums.
Spotify seems to be supressing how upset users are with the new UI rollout. It is a thread that is getting HUNDREDS of votes a day and is nowhere to be found here.
Spotify should take artists that they see have good quality songs but are not necessarily getting the streams and recognition they deserve. They should have a created playlist or a shuffle button that exposes the artists that have little to no streams. They also should create an independent artist playlist that shines a light on new artists that are not under a label.
5028 votes and 67 pages of comments
STILL no update on this from spotify. Even though they are meant to after 500 votes.
Stop ignoring Ideas then telling us to "Make an idea".
Dear Spotify, could you introduce a way to organize playlists by either manually editing their order or preferably by name? This will help a lot of users, by organizing their playlist's like the songs inside of it.
I'm liking the idea of the Daily Drive but is there a way to customize the news briefs that come up? I would love to get a variety of news sources (cnn, nbc, fox, etc.) as well as news types (entertainment, music, sports, etc.).
Maybe even some local news sources as well
If its not possible, I think this would be a valuable update.
This morning (european time) the idea ‘bring back the old UI’ went straight from ‘new idea’ to ‘closed case’ though it had gathered 5305 likes since February!!
Of course it did not adress what many have complained about, ie the issue with alphabetical scrollbar for artists. So long for the freedom of speech, we now know how Spotify treat its customers.
Came in to comment on the new daily drive playlist. Love the music, but hate the news. I pay to not have to listen to the “talking heads” much less by sources curated for me rather than chosen by me. It’s also frustrating because you can’t skip next to pass it up, you have to forward through the news clip.
If I want news I have other outlets I use. If you want to provide news then please either make a playlist of snippets or provide a preference setting where you can opt in and out if it.
I think Spotify should have playlists much like BBC have, where artists, actors, athletes, famous doc persons aka theroux, and all round interesting people list their favourite tracks old and new .
Version of FireFox No Longer Supported (Get an upgraded version)
Can we please add these 2 songs.
