Artists with Duplicate names are merged

Artists with Duplicate names are merged

In this week's release radar I had songs by Andy Cooper and Ride. However they are not the Andy Cooper and ride I normally listen to and it looks like artists with the same name are being merged. So when you go to Andy Cooper you get his back catalogue of funky rap and it's merged with jazz albums and I think a third Andy Cooper who seems to do children's nursery rhymes.

How can you notify Spotify of these issues and get the to split the tracks under the correct artists?

Hello @stevc999

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community!

Spotify displays music according to the metadata delivered to them by artist's label or distributor.

However, if you see that some info is displayed incorrectly, you can follow the steps provided in this Support Article under Broken or incorrect content to report it.

Keep in mind that it might take some time before the changes are applied.

I hope you'll find this helpful!
