Audiobook Listening Time Question

Audiobook Listening Time Question

My Question or Issue

Does the 15 hours of monthly audiobook listening time correspond to the length of an audiobook or the actual number of hours listened?

For example, if I have an audiobook exactly 15 hours long, and I were to listen to it at 2x speed and finish it in 7.5 hours, would I still have 7.5 hours of listening time left? Or would my 15 monthly hours be used up because the book itself was 15 hours long, even though I finished it in half the time?

Heya @cactii

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

The way listening time works is that it allots 15 hours of listening time to Premium users monthly. The playback speed does not affect the listening time, even if listening at 2x speed the content listened will still amount to 15 hours of time, even if listened to in a shorter timeframe.

Hope that cleared things up.

Cheers.
