My Question or Issue

How do i unlock an audiobook on a different device?

I have a Premium plan and the audiobook is available on ipad.

When I try to open it on my iphone, I get a message "Want to listen? You can't buy audiobooks in the app but titles you've already purchased through Spotify can be listened here"

I tried "Sign Out everywhere" as suggested in a previous question but that did not work

Hey @Frustrated65, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps. These steps are more thorough than the simple reinstall and can solve common issues.

If you're still having trouble, can you let me know the make and model of the device you're experiencing this on?

It worked!

 

Thank you so much for the info. I have spent hours trying to accomplish this. I've signed out to everything, deleted and reinstalled the app on all of my devices (total of 3) restarted my devices, and on and on.....

 

I like to listen to a book when I travel and because audiobooks were locked on my phone (but not my tablet), I had to alternate between my ipad for books and my phone for GPS. I have an 8 hour road trip in 3 weeks and will be able to enjoy alternating between a book and my playlists. You've made an old woman very happy today.
