Hi,
I'm a Spotify user in Germany, and last november I noticed that one of my favorite Bands, "El ultimo de la fila" was finally available on Spotify.
But now, almost all of their Albums are removed.
Any reason for that? Does it just happen ouside of Spain (where the band comes from)? Any plans to readd it?
Regards,
JE
Hey @quique123
The availability of music on Spotify is up to the artists and their music label.
If the music is unavailable, the artist or their music label may have decided to not make it available in Spotify.
Please check this Support article here for more info. 🙂
Hi,
thanks for your answer!
Yes, I know that about the availability, it can be found in multiple messages.
My specific question is: why was the band for a long time not available, then available for a short period of time, and now again not available?
Is it something related with the geo-location? Was it a spotify problem (music should not have been available at all or in my country)? Have the company/artist thought about it and finally not accepted the conditions Spotify offered?
Regards
I guess those are questions only the band members or their record label can answer. 🙂
Anyone from Spotify with knowledge of the situation could also answer that, but I guess that is not going to happen
