Cant find local files

Cant find local files

i have searched spotify webpage to find how i can add my own music and its through something called local files? but my app does not have this, or look like the app in the photos

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community!

 

You can import local files using the Desktop app on your PC. You need to go in Settings > Local Files > Enable Show Local Files > Add a source from which you will import your local files.

there is no setting called local files. i asked a few friends and it looks like my entire spotify app on pc is different to everyone elses.

I suggest you to do a clean reinstall of the app following these steps.

 

If the problem persists, it means you are currently part of a test that Spotify is currently running. You can find more info in this support article.

 

Right now, it's not possible to opt-out of these tests however if your not happy with the new experience I'd recommend adding a +VOTE here to show your interest to Spotify to returning back to what you had previously.
