My Question or Issue

Hi guys, I just saw today that Enigma - Sadeness, and it's variants, are missing from Spotify. I want to know if something happened because it's one of my favorite musics.

If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community! 

Could you confirm if you aren't able to find the content at all, or it is there but it has become unplayable. A screenshot or a link to the missing content could also be helpful for us, so we can take a closer look into the matter.

Keep in mind that the musical content in the Spotify app is constantly being updated. We’d love to have all of Enigma's music available but some content is not currently available (or is available in one country and not another). Reasons for this vary: Sometimes agreements are ongoing or can’t be reached with an artist, label, or content provider; or ownership of a track, album, video, or podcast may change hands such that it’s removed from Spotify.

Thousands of minutes of content are being added to Spotify every day. If you can’t find something you’re looking for now, it may appear (or reappear) soon!

Thanks for your reply and for the screenshots.

We can confirm that those tracks aren't available, which is why they appear greyed out.

As @Elena mentioned above, this can happen due to different factors, mostly being licensing agreements and permissions from the right holders.

There's new content being added to Spotify everyday, so hopefully you can find all of your favorite music again soon.

If you need a hand with anything else, the Community is here for you.

It is sad that "Sadness" is not available on Spotify, I'm switching back to Apple Music - it has full album

Interestingly enough, I've also noticed that several other songs either produced by or written by Frank Peterson (he co-wrote "Sadeness") also seem to have become greyed out.  Mostly this has affected Sarah Brightman's discography.  I'm betting he has developed a licensing issue with Spotify and that's why we're seeing this.

I've just recently tried to play Enigma songs from both my desktop and my Samsung Phone and it won't play any Enigma and goes randomly to Enya songs. My wife can play Enigma on her Iphone and she's on my family account.

Any idea what is going on please?

Hi. Thanks for the response. I have managed to find the problem. There are three dots by the artist and if you press that you get an option to block an artist. For some reason that was clicked (even though I hadn't done it)
