How do I turn off promotions blurbs on Spotify startup?

My Question or Issue

I pay for Spotify with the understanding that I never have to deal with ads but to me it feels as though Spotify has broken this promise by beginning to subtly and not so subtly put in ads for it own content with no option to remove it. This morning, I was hit with a startup banner message for four related playlist/podcast lists. Often, I'll see content that I would never listen to feature prominently in my home screen. I don't want this. I want the option to disable these popups and curated advertisements for Spotify content in my home screen and not have to be directed by content like this.

I recently found this exhaustive info in my quest to disable annoying banners/ads in the app (and I'm a premium subscriber):

I ended up using the SpotX install to wipe out all of the annoyances in the Windows version of the app. It also includes an option during install to disable app auto-updates.

So... paying for premium Spotify disables all ads except for the ads that are *not* disabled. 🤔

Started getting pop ups and sponsored music of artists i never listened to. Spotify, remove the**bleep** adds from premium. They are intrusive and they ruin the experience.
