How to set up global hotkeys?

I am using Toastify now, but I think as a music player, global hotkey is the most basic function

At the moment, unfortunately there are no global hotkeys on Spotify but there are a few keyboard shortcuts you can use while the app is open. You can find more info here. 

There were previous discussions about creating built in hotkeys, however it was concluded that they won't be implemented in the near future. In this article you can find the information about it.
