My Question or Issue:
Hi everyone.
I can't seem to be able to find the New Releases feature, which was one of my absolute favourites, and a bit of a deal breaker for me. I hope its something temporary or a mistake in my part or something.
I can only find something similar to it in the Classical music section "Novedades Clásicas" (the oldest was from 2024, so it was kind of ok).
On the other hand, there are such lists as "Descubrimiento semanal" y "Radar de Novedades", but the are just lists of artists I already follow (at least most of them, I couldn't check them all), which to me defeats the purpose of this feature, which is to find new artists to follow.
And then, there was this selection of albums called "Novedades Escogidas Cuidadosamente", which made me think it would at least be from artists that the algorithm thinks I might like, but not even so: between 90 and 95% was reggaeton and trap music which I ALMOST NEVER listen to, because I don't like it at all. Plus there were some albums like Nibiru (by Ozuna) which were from 2019!! So they weren't even "Novedades" to begin with!
This is such a disappointment for me that if this feature is not here any longer, I will be sadly forced to think about migrating to other services. I am just asking for the full list of new releases so I can, on one hand, be able to listen to some of the new stuff and "take the pulse" of the music releases scene, discover new artists, etc. And on the other hand, be updated and knowledgeable, having the possibility of listening to them, so I can be able to recomend music to my clients (I work in a store that sells vynils and CDs, so this is also important for me).
Plus, the beauty of Spotify (at least to me) is to be able to find music out of the mainstream because I find lists like "Éxitos del 2025" or "Top 100 España" to be absolutely boring. Music is so vast, so full of awesome styles and genres... that just listen to the top ranked songs would be limiting myself to just "one or two flavours", which to me is just very sad. And, to be honest, I don't want to pay for it. If I wanted to listen just to mainstream stuff I'd just turn the FM radio on.
Thank you so much for your help.
