Missing Music...why?

Can someone explain why the following albums have recently gone missing:

Now if the release you had access to was available and then just became unavailable recently, give this a couple weeks to get corrected. Normally the content comes back as licenses need updated for the content to continue again for different listening regions.

Why is Michael Calfan Treasured Soul EP not available?

This is very surprising and annoying.

It seems to be the case that parts of several classical recodings have disappeared (for example half of the recording can be played, but the rest cannot be played). The same has happened with pop-music also.

This type of sudden disappearances makes one to seriously reconsider the rationality of continuing with Spotify Premium.

I think Spotify is suffering from a technical glitch again. I've also had random tracks disappear from my playlists (even some of Spotify's own ones that I subscribed  are affected).

Either there has been a major label or distributor withdrawing or there is a glitch.

The albums in question that are entirely empty are the Various Artist ones from the Night Of The Proms. I contacted them and got this reply:

"I’m afraid the unrelease of the compilation was not done “on our commando”. Sorry to hear your playlists got messed up."

I'm also thinking about migrating, just the hassle keeps me (I have quite a lot of "configuration" done, playlists, etc... ).

And yes, I'm a premium member - I think if I had just bought the albums I'm regularly listening to I'd have ended up spending less. I'm here for the lack of hassle (not having to rip and upload tracks to my devices). If this keeps happening, I'll have to go back to buying CDs...

Have also noticed spotify has all of "three days grace" but on the one-x album its missing "running away" my fav song 😞

I just resubscribed to Spotify and a few albums I really used to enjoy listening to are missing. Could you let me know if this is a technical issue or license issue? These are just 2 that come to mind, but there may be many more. I used Spotify for years and they were always available... I just resubscribed after not using Spotify for about a year so I really hope its not a license issue...

That's rather interesting information.

Could you do this lookup for "Night Of The Proms 2005" and "Night Of The Proms 2006"?

They seem to have disappeared, and I didn't move... (actually, I can see them as playlist, but all tracks are unavailable, Album cover is missing, too)

Hello:

Sadly those two releases are not coming up as available on the Spotify service currently.

I use this web service here: https://jcheng31.github.io/isitonspotify/ that uses the Spotify API, when doing keyword look-ups for releases on all listening regions that have access to content on the Spotify service. Just make sure to select either track or album titles from the pull down tab when pasting the title of the content into the name field.

When I have a Spotify URI link handy, I use this web service that uses the Spotify API as well here: http://kaaes.github.io/albums-availability/#0KJYApJRtacNp8YtIBiVJL this web service only does full album look ups.

There is also this the Spotify API console here: https://developer.spotify.com/web-api/console/

Users need to know a little bit about how to get to ID strings for Artist pages, tracks, albums, and user created playlists, so as to input the correct information to get correct return results using the Spotify API endpoints. is so users can use standard search terms to find items they are looking for throughout the Spotify service be it an album, artist, track, and/or playlist.

If you look at the stuff available from No Angels, there are quite a few large gaps, however other tracks are there. This looks like a technical glitch (again) to me...
