I can’t play video content on spotify through iphone app and mac app on Joe Rogan Podcast

Thanks for keeping us in the loop. 

 

If you're still not able to watch video content on Spotify across multiple devices and Spotify accounts it's possible that this feature isn't yet available in your region.

 

Keep in mind Spotify launched recently in Trinidad and Tobago and some features are being gradually rolled out until they become available to all Spotify users. We recommend keeping your Spotify app updated to the latest version so you don't miss any updates that will allow you to watch video contents.

Can you try using the Web player on your computer?

 

Also, let us know if video loads normally if you're logged in with a different account.

I have tried my web player and it doesn't work. Also video didn't load either when I tried using my mothers phone and account. Which is a iPhone 10 and Trinidad account. 

 

I am only getting audio on spotify for video podcast.

Thanks for the info.

 

Since the video doesn't work even on your mothers phone and account, the issue may be coming from your house network.

 

Can you try connecting to another network or using mobile data, to check if that's the case?

Using Cellphone data didn't seem to work either but thanks for the ideas.

Thanks for getting back to us.

 

Can you try to Switch Car Mode to Never. And toggle Download Using Cellular to "on" and restart app. 

 

Also, can you send us a screenshot or a recording of how it appears on your devices when the JRE is playing? You can add this as an attachment or a link to an external video/photo sharing platform.

I have tried the car mode never and download using cellular with no results. Hope you can help I have attached a video

No I wasn't able to get Video since the time I've used it. It only recently became available in Trinidad in Tobago so I think it's something country related but am not sure. Thanks for giving troubleshooting ideas anyways.
