Random songs are put in my queue

Spotify has been putting random songs in my queue. I will look one moment in the first photo and it looks normal. Then later I will look back and there are songs I never queued my self that just appeared as seen in the second photo after the Luke Bryan song where the song sundown should have played next. This is seen in photo 2. Then later the same songs that i did not queue and deleted from the queue reappeared later in the day. These songs are in my playlist but were not next up in the shuffle. Wondering if anyone has run into this and if you know how to fix it?

Thanks for reaching out.

Looking at the screenshots, we can determine the following things:

• The hour is different, so some time has passed between the screenshots
• The playback device has been changed in the meantime
• The songs, albeit a part of the playlist, have re-shuffled and don't play following the initial shuffled order
  
  

With this in mind, I believe we're seeing a combination of two currently existing issues we have on our radar:

• Spotify Connect/Cast is Broken, Can't Switch Devices Without Losing Queue - here the queue can change or disappear when switching devices
• When changing between playback devices, the playlist is started from the beginning - this resets the playlist to an earlier queued stage upon playback device change
  
  

In your stead I'd keep a mental note of the abovementioned issues and monitor how the app behaves. We'd appreciate it if you could let us know if the queue changes without selecting a new song (which generates a new shuffle) and without changing the playback device.

Once we have this info, we'll be able to further narrow down what might be going on here 🙂
