How accurate is the "# listening now" icon in the home page of Spotify for Aritsts? I can see "0 listening now" on my page. When I play my own song... is still says 0.
Solved! Go to Solution.
I have had good experiences with it. I tried it out with a few friends, and while there was a few seconds latency, we could clearly see the number vary when we played my songs.

Awww nice. That's cool to hear. Yes, it's probably the latency. Thanks.

Hi Friend. My daughter is having the same issue. I am playing her song, but Spotify for artists says 0 listeners! This is so disheartening! She works so hard and puts so much effort, it kills me to think that Spotify is cheating them out of their streams!
Mine has been on 15 everyday almost whole day. tap into GRS23. lmk your favorite songs

It’s cause it’s not doing enough numbers . I own the biggest indie label in the country . I currently have a song going viral with my artist marcnerr and post Malones artist clever , I’m doing about 1,500 to 2,500 streams a day and the most I ever seen on that number counter was 17. Nice stuff! Check out my children's album Mr. Bri Guy
Currently running into an issue where one of my accounts shows up as live listener but another doesn't. Really confusing.
If someone sees this, jump on https://open.spotify.com/track/1YwoPvoIEfyv5FQ5AFSx6b?si=-6E7OfTxTS6p0bNQa7qGFw and let's see if I can see it
Hey, I mean no offense; I know you're speaking out of love for your child. But getting big streams on Spotify doesn’t just happen magically. You need to understand how the algorithm works to reach a wider audience. Search for ways to increase streams on Spotify, how to work with its algorithm, or how to run Facebook ads for Spotify. You can also use playlist placement services. Don’t be disheartened. With technological advancements, there's no shortage of skilled musicians today. Some become big artists because they express themselves well and leverage PR and marketing companies. These companies help them figure out what makes an artist successful: the right key, tempo, cover art, title, photoshoot, brand image, etc. Then, they use established PR and media marketing networks to grow. So, your skill and sincerity often have little to do with how much an audience appreciates you. Audiences are heavily influenced by these industry middlemen, and tech giants use SEO as their key tool to guide what people hear.
Hey there you, Yeah, you! 😁 Welcome - we're glad you joined the Spotify Community! While you here, let's have a fun game and get…
