My Question or Issue

Spotify search is really a mess. That's a database 101 exercise, and spotify simply can't do it right. I have just discovered an album collection called "Essential Classics". There is no much info about them, probably is a digital compilation done by spotify itself, but it's classified as an album. Each album has a specific artists. So far I found an impressive, 1168 Volumes. This is Huge ok. I could easily make a radio from a playlist with 1168 artists. I would like to compile an artist list to put it available somewhere. The problem is the search doesn't work well. I made a small python program to fetch all the albums and got more that 500 "not found" occurrences. The issue is that I know they exist. Even at the search bar, it's difficult to find an exact occurrence. Like the vol. 8, for example, https://open.spotify.com/album/3uJMmPcwzWICwwsq0p4Mum?si=cgZXvC-tQKSV47JN1kwCkw. My python app got a "not found" answer and on web and app if I search for Essential Classics Vol.8, with all variations (with and without comma, spaces, AND, and anything else) it just can't find it. I got a lot of 8xx,8x but no 8. And this happens with half of the volumes. In this case, I just know that it exists because some very good soul have the patience to put a playlist with volumes 1-162. As I said, this should not happen. The minimum someone can expect is to have a search return of the expected query in a database. This fail could lead to customer loss and a lot of other issues. There are dozen of complaints about Spotify searh. Didn't know why Spotify insists in this. Is a ElasticSearch problem ? Who knows.
