Songs not downloading

My Question or Issue

Songs won’t download and even when I’m on WiFi the red download thing pops up randomly.  I have storage on my phone, I deleted and offloaded the app and reinstalled it both times and it still says this.  If anyone can help me out I’d really appreciate it.  I check all the forums and couldn’t find anything that said there are any issues.

In this case, we'd like to gather some additional info. Would you mind sharing with us the exact Spotify version you're running in the affected device? 

On another note, just to confirm, has the app always been behaving like this or does it start to happen after a specific event such as an OS update? Please send us the details about it.
 

Lastly, is this happening over WiFi? 3G/4G? Both? Do you notice any difference if you switch the internet connection you're using?
