My Question or Issue
Spotify has been suddenly struggling to load, remaining blacked out and shows NaN errors if it does load (see attached image). My playlists do not display, nor do album images. I can kind of search for music but nothing I click plays;
the NaN error is always there, though the green playlist icon my sometimes switch from “play” to “pause”, indicating it should be. I can see what my friends are listening to live without issue. It is not a network/WiFi problem— I can stream large videos on my computer just fine. I have used the clean reinstall and clean update methods multiple times. I’ve checked that my Quicktime is up-to-date, and I have also tried installing a later version of Spotify to no avail.

Hi there @VickiMeiHui,

Thank you for your reply and confirmation.

Can you log in with someone else's account - such as a friend's or a family member's to see if the issue persist?

On another note, does this occur on one specific device or multiple devices?

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Take care!

Hey @VickiMeiHui,

Thanks for getting in touch with us and welcome to the Community 🙂

The troubleshooting steps that you've tried so far are very good. We'd like to add a few more.

It's a good idea to give these steps a go and check the hosts file.

If you have any firewall/antivirus related programs, it's important to make sure that you've whitelisted Spotify on them.

Let us know how it goes. If you have questions, you know where to find us.

Hi, @Ver thank you for responding.

I checked my “hosts” file, but didn’t find anything with Spotify.

Spotify is whitelisted in my firewall program.

What should I do now?
