Why are The Beatles music not available on Spotify?

The rightsholders of their music have decided not to put the music on Spotify or any other streaming service. As far as I know the only way you can digitally listen is to buy on iTunes or CD.

Also there is a limited selection of tracks of the Beatles music available from google play either from the Internet radio service or limited releases mainly best of collections, their radio system is similar to Pandora and what iTunes now has. I was looking at the Beatles offerings when seeing what their free Internet radio feature was like.
