What happens with "Daily Mix" lists repeating same songs every week?

My Question or Issue

Hi. What happens with the algorithm of creating the "Daily Mix" lists every week? I have the same songs every week for 6 days. The only difference is the order but same artists and songs. I don´t know but Spotify works better at the beginning than now with showing me new artists and songs that I like. Horrible, I use the Daily Mix but lately is so bored that I search other ways to listen to music. Please, do something not repeating same songs and artists in radios o mixes.

Hey @Shavea,

Thanks for posting in the Community!
As Daily Mixes aren't the go-to playlists for finding new music, we do recommend listening to some of the other mixes we have - either Discover Weekly or Release Radar.
Listening to new music outside of the Daily Mix will eventually update the Daily Mix itself, including the new songs in the process.

Thanks for your reply. I have both of them (Discover Weekly and Release Radar) in my library since I discovered them some years ago. Ok, I understand what you mean with Daily Mix. It was very comfortable for me the Daily Mix before cause of the nice surprises but lately I noticed that the songs and artists were the same every week so I was bored listening always the same. I will listen to Radio Artists and hope the Daily Mix will change with the artists of the different radios.

I agree.  Daily mixes are very lame.  Always same songs day after day, week after week.  I have nearly 6,000 songs liked in my library and it can only find 50 songs to put on each list?  Also, it throws in songs of the same genre that I don't like and I can't even hide them on the list.  On a side note, if I shuffle play any of my manually created playlists the same 20% of the songs keep playing day after day.  There are songs on some of my playlists that I haven't heard in years!!!  If it were easy to export my song list to another platform I'd be gone by now.  Dear Spotify, step it up and make your platform offer more enticing options for variety.

Same problem here. I really don't understand the purpose of such functions if it  can't be used. 
This is a basic functionality and at the same time very useful so I really can't understand how you are unable to progress on such matter.
Listening to other playlist does not help much in my case because I would like recommendation in line with the songs I liked. You playlist are quite "limited" for heavy  listeners.
At least you should allow users to force a refresh of the daily mixes, otherwise I will switch on the good old radio that to some extent becomes less complicated and less boring to listen to.

Same problem here. The lists are almost the same from day to day.

Yeah, I like the way that the daily mixes organize around genres and styles, I just wish they would inject more songs from other listeners that have similar taste to my own and throw out songs that I skip frequently and replace with new, never heard before selections to see if I skip those. Also songs that have been in heavy rotation for months or even years, put those on pause for a while.
