My Question or Issue
As of yesterday, I'm getting this error when I look for updates:
W: An error occurred during the signature verification. The repository is not updated and the previous index files will be used. GPG error: http://repository.spotify.com stable InRelease: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY D1742AD60D811D58
E: http://repository.spotify.com stable InRelease is not (yet) available (The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY D1742AD60D811D58)
Looking at the past issues that were very similar, it seems this is an issue that spotify needs to fix on their servers. Any ideas?
Thanks

Hey @RejectedManiac
Nah, you should be fine.
There's a new Spotify client available and for this, new signatures. Your system simply doesn't have an updated key and this command will add it.
I no longer receive the error anymore. It doesn't show there being an update and won't know for sure until one is made available. Thanks for the help!
The problem is happening because the key linked in the installation instructions is wrong (see https://www.spotify.com/br/download/linux/)
Using the key in the answer worked
