Clear Queue button missing on both Debian and Snap installations.

I am not sure if I am missing anything, but I can't seem to find the Clear Queue button anywhere inside the Queue. I tried it in both Debian, and Snap installations, but this button is missing.

Hey @Alok_Sharma, welcome to the Spotify Community! 🎵

Could you try these steps and see if the clear queue button appears:

  1. Right-click any song and click Add to Queue
  2. Open the queue and check for the clear queue button

This option only appears if you add an item in the queue explicitly. If you play a playlist normally or shuffle it then the clear queue option does not appear.

Let me know how it goes. 🙂

Hi Amayy,

I am sorry for the late reply.

I tried your suggestion, but unfortunately, it partially worked.

1. I manually removed all the songs from the queue.
2. I then played an album, and the songs got added to the queue.
3. As per your suggestion, I went to another album, right-clicked on a song, and added it to a queue. The Clear Queue button appeared, but only for the song that I added. Clicking on this button only removed the song that I had added to the queue, not the other songs.

I have attached the screenshots to make it easy to understand.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, @Alok_Sharma. As I mentioned in my previous reply, this is the expected behavior of the queue.

The clear queue button appears if you add something manually and not if you are only playing an album or playlist.

However, if you have a better idea, feel free to share it on the ideas board.

That's a very unusual behaviour with the app. I mean, it really makes no sense why the developers want it that way. Clearing a queue should be as simple as pressing the button.

But thanks anyway 🙂

Adding to this that the clear queue button is missing, period, on my phone app. I have to swipe each individual song to delete them from the queue, and there must be dozens of songs in there, it's maddening!
