Collaborative playlist is not working

My boyfriend invited me to a Collab playlist. On his end I come up as a collaborator, but on mine Im not and cannot add any songs.
I resetted the page multiple times, and it still wont work. HELP! I'm on an asus chromebook and my boyfriend is on an iphone I believe
