My Question or Issue

When using the Linux client to play music, the discharge rate of the battery of my ThinkPad is much higher than when using the web client.

For instance, playing music with a Bluetooth headset connected, an active 4G connection and the screen set to the 5/20 brightness setting, the device will consume approx. 12 W. Using the web client, the device is only consuming ~ 8 W in the same scenario. Even when playing downloaded music with all network connections disabled, using the Linux client will still result in much lower battery life than using the web client with an active WiFi or 4G connection.

As this renders the desktop client useless (except for the ability to download music) when using the device on the go, I would appreciate if this behaviour could be fixed.
