My Question or Issue

I want to report a bug regarding the "Read Along" feature on the Desktop application for Linux/Ubuntu.

Currently, on the iOS app, transcripts are available for almost all podcasts. However, on the Ubuntu desktop application, "Read Along" only works for video podcasts and is completely missing when listening to audio-only podcasts.

Because the transcript functionality is already successfully implemented and working for video podcasts on the exact same Linux build, its absence for audio-only podcasts appears to be an unintentional bug rather than a missing feature.

Transcripts are crucial for accessibility and an uninterrupted user experience, as I frequently learn a new language and read transcripts to understand what I've just heard. Please look into fixing this discrepancy so that audio-only podcasts have the same "Read Along" availability on the Linux desktop client as they do on mobile.
