My Question or Issue
Can the team that is responsible for compiling Spotify on Debian please compile the latest Spotify package for Debian? It's been almost a year since the last release, and there have been changes as indicated by the Windows client. It's also starting to no longer work properly, UI elements are starting to appear jagged, scrollbar appearing when it shouldn't (wasn't an issue prior).
Would be much appreciated.

They did update the Debian repository.

This is great news!
You can download the client with snap
The version there it's newer than the one in the repository for Debian.

This is great news!
http://repository.spotify.com/dists/stable/non-free/binary-amd64/Packages still doesn't list the latest version.
And this version still takes several minutes to fully load (e.g. Home or Browse empty)
Interesting, never had that issue, ever.
