Hello!
I can't successfully log into any player. It's fine for the forums and the main page.
The web player: When I click sign in with Facebook, I get an empty pop-up and that's as far as I can get.
The desktop app: I had to install the additional libraries and can now launch the app with no problems. But none of the ways I tried to log in worked for me.
Where could my problem be? It worked fine in Windows last time I checked and on Android, too.
Thanks for help!

Hello changnesia,
You can run spotify from terminal and when you try to log in, check the ouput in terminal,
If you cannot read it yourself you can try to dump it with following command :
spotify >$HOME/spotify-dump.txt 2>&1
and attach it here, so I can take a look : )
edit : it looks like server side issue - https://community.spotify.com/t5/Help-Desktop-Linux-Windows-Web/bd-p/001
Hello changnesia,

So there's nothing I can do for now? Everything ok on my side?
You can still give me the dump to check it out.
Check my first post : )
It looks like the problem is the same as in the other thread, here's what's probably causing the trouble:
19:42:59.436 E [offline_key_store.cpp:77 ] Offline: failed to load key stores, error 7007, path /home/changnesia/.cache/spotify/Users/11162060257-user/offline2 19:42:59.439 E [offline_key_store.cpp:77 ] Offline: failed to load key stores, error 7007, path /home/changnesia/.cache/spotify/Users/11162060257-user/cached
Edit: Whole dump here.
As i thought, your client is entering 'offline state'.
There is nothing you can do at the moment but wait : )
If you need anything else, just poke me I will be around to check it ; )
Thank you! Seems like I picked the worst time to install spotify on my computer, haha.
I suppose I'll find out if this issue was resolved by checking the output in Terminal, won't i?
I have now tested Spotify on Ubuntu using my PC, the webplayer as well as Spotify on my Android tablet. The browse function simply isn't working on any of these.
It works fine on Android, even browse, I've just checked it. On my laptop though no dice for any player.
Strange that is works for you. My 2 tablets that I use with Spotify often both crash now when I run the program. However, my old tablet that has android 4.03 and an old beta version of Spotify actually works fine. But that is the only thing that I have tried that works at the moment.
My phone runs 4.1, maybe that's why it works for me.
Hi, I have the same problem since I installed from scratch Kubuntu 15.10. Didn't have the issue before.
Here's the output, do you guys have any hint?
Thanks!

Earlier this week, I tried to install spotify on a new computer, running Debian Jessie just like the old one (on which spotify worked).
To match my preference for stable software, I chose to install 0.9.17, and not the beta version of 1.0. After finding an old libgcrypt, I ran into the "flickering when tiled"-issue (https://community.spotify.com/t5/Help-Desktop-Linux-Windows-Web/High-CPU-load-and-much-flickering-on...
After working around that, spotify runs, but doesn't play anything. Starting it from a terminal, gives a lot of output, the only thing that seems to be of any value is:
17:01:00.812 E [offline_key_store.cpp:77 ] Offline: failed to load key stores, error 7007, path /home/grove/.cache/spotify/Users/hc_grove-user/cached
So i seems I've hit the same issue as others in this thread.
