Music doesn't stop after closing app - Linux

Description:

After closing app music doesn't stop playing. If you reopen the app you are able to play multiple songs at the same time. 

Environment:

Ubuntu 16.04 64-bit

Application:

Spotify version 1.0.49.125.g72ee7853

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Spotify Desktop App

2. Play any music

3. Right click on Spotify icon on Launcher

4. Click "QUIT" Button

5. App closed but music still playing

6. Open Spotify App again

7. Play any music

8. Two different songs are playing at the same time

It is known bug.

I am still not sure how to fix it.
