My Question or Issue

Today I have been troubleshooting an ongoing issue with my local spotify client. Currently, I am receiving either "accounts:4" error code and on occasion the "session: 103" error code. Steps I have taken thus far are: completely uninstall the spotify-launcher package, delete .cache and .config files, running with sudo privileges, changed my DNS and proxy, checked if VPNs are running, and tested different modes of using Spotify. I also reset my keyrings in case the service was being blocked by the gnome-keyring access.

I successfully use the webplayer, another spotify client called "ncspot", and other devices such as my android phone. I prefer to use the spotify-launcher client as it meets my needs the most. After ten years of using this application this the first major issue I've experienced. Please help, as I am at my wits end.

I am having this same issue, also on CachyOS. When I open Spotify (I've tried the spotify-launcher from pacman, spotify from AUR, and flatpak; all have the same issue), I see a big red banner that says "No internet connection detected. (Error code: accounts 4)". The login QR code is also missing. When I try to log in, after logging in in the browser, I get "Error code: session: 103".

Hey, downgrading the spotify launcher version fixed it for me. maybe try that
