My Question or Issue
Hi. I downloaded Spotify in Ubuntu and it goes well, but I would like to be able to run it in the background, as it can be done in Windows. Is this possible?
Thank you!

Thx somnophobe! I don’t now about kdocker. It can solve my problem.
I found another solution. In kubuntu you can create diferents activities. I call one background and put there things like Spotify, which I do not want to see on the main desk.
I hope that help

seems that's not possible.
what do you mean by run it in the background?
I use kdocker to minimize stuff (mostly Spotify & Thunderbird) to the tray, if that's what you're looking for: https://packages.ubuntu.com/search?suite=default§ion=all&arch=any&keywords=kdocker&searchon=name...

try with Automate app for android
then:
Step: App Start
Package: com.spotify.music
Activity class: com.spotify.loginflow.QuickLoginActivity
