Ubuntu 18.04 login with facebook - a firewall may be blocking spotify

My Question or Issue

I've installed the most recent spotify client (tried through snap first and apt second).

After clicking "Log in with Facebook", it does nothing for a second and then gives an error: "A firewall may be blocking Spotify... Error code: 18".

I've tried the standard solutions for this issue - proxy is turned off, and my country is correct and has never changed.

Managed to fix it by resetting password and logging in without Facebook - the button still doesn't work though 🙂
