Activity feed - How to remove it? (and everything in it)

As the topic states, how do i remove the acitivity frame. Ive manage to turn most of the stuff in there off. But i cant get away from the suggestions for people to follow.

If you want to turn this service into a music facebook fine with me, but let me and others using it as a music player be able to keep it that way.

which also means having a permenant private session mode. Where is the respect for integrity?

To hide the activity bar you just need to click on the top left menu View -> People list.

In the settings you can also choose to never share a song.

Thank you so much Marco! This has annoyed me since they added it I just figured since there wasn't an X on it that it couldn't be closed.
